Seaside, one of the Oregon Coast’s most popular vacation areas, is
located a scenic hour and a half drive west of Portland.
Our Show Hall
is the air-conditioned Seaside Convention
Center at 415 First Avenue, Seaside, OR. The phone number is (503)
738-8585. It is a spacious, showcase with natural light. This is a non-smoking
show hall. The beaches and coastal shops are only a few blocks away.
Our
Closing Date is July 11th, 2011. It
is imperative that you make your plans early as the available hotel space will

This
is a non-vetted show. We suggest that all cats and kittens be inoculated
against feline enteritis, calici virus and rhinotreacheitis and tested for FeLV
before entry. ALL claws of ALL entries must be clipped prior to benching. CFA Show
Rules will be strictly enforced. For a copy of the current show rules, send $7
to: CFA, PO Box 1005 Manasquan, NJ 08736. Sunkat Feline Fanciers reserves the
right to substitute judges not named herein.
Benching
will be limited to 225 competitive cats. Check
in on Saturday will be from 7:30 to 8:30 am. Judging will start promptly at
9:00 am both days.
All
entries must be signed and must be accompanied by the correct entry fee. Make
all checks payable to Sunkat Feline
Fanciers in US funds. A COLLECT call from the entry clerk will be made to
clarify any questions on your entry. A returned check fee of $30.00 will be
assessed for any returned check. Substitutions fee is $10 per substitution.
Each
entry is entitled to a single cage of 21" x 21" x 21". A double
cage space is 21"x45"x21". Cages require coverings on at least
three sides and the top. You may want to bring a cover for the bottom of the
cage as well.
Rosettes
and ribbons will be awarded for all final wins in accordance with CFA Show
Rules. Permanent flats will be used, but satin flats are available for those
wanting them. Top Ten Household Pets will be awarded if twenty HHP have been
entered. All Household Pets over eight (8) months old must be neutered or
spayed. No declawed HHP are eligible for entry.
Litter will be supplied,
please bring your own litter pans as well as your food and water dishes. There
is a snack bar in the show hall and many restaurants within blocks of the
Convention Center. Please note: This show hall has good people food. Exhibitors
are not generally allowed to bring in food from outside sources.

Advertised hours
for both days is 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The show hall will be open at 8:00 am Sunday.
Portland
International Airport is over 2 hours away and there will be additional traffic
on the highway due to the season. Please make any flight arrangements with this
in mind.
All
Entries must be submitted on an official CFA entry form (or reasonable
facsimile) printed or typed legibly.
